Goodman Revival Powerful 'I Hold A Clear Title To A Mansion' Performance Lyric Video

Listen to this wonderful performance of the beloved hymn ‘I Hold A Clear Title To A Mansion’ from the group Goodman Revival.

“I’ve heard people talk about heaven

And tell of its beauty so rare.

So one day he gave me a title

To a mansion in that land so fair.”

What a great hymn that reminds us of our Heavenly home. The voices in Goodman Revival do such a lovely job of bringing the importance of this message to the forefront.

“Goosebumps for sure. Never will get too much of this song. Thank you,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“Beautiful song with wonderful lyrics. Heaven is the real home,” writes another person online.

The people that make up the group Goodman Revival include Tanya Goodman Sykes, her husband, acclaimed producer Michael Sykes, and friend Johnny Minick, who is a gospel music veteran who performed for years with the Goodmans. The trio released their debut album titled Songs in the Key of Happy, where they revived Goodman classics such as ‘I Wouldn’t Take Nothing for My Journey Now,’ ‘Until You’ve Known the Love of God,’ and ‘Who Am I.’

“There is trust between the three of us,” Tanya Goodman Sykes shares. “There is friendship. There is a wealth of shared experience. We all grew up in church 24-7, and this music has been a big part of all three of our lives. None of us planned this, but we're in a place in our lives where we walk through doors as they open.”

The hymn ‘I Hold A Clear Title To A Mansion’ is one that is sure to uplift and encourage, and we love how the Goodman Revival performed the song in this video. We hope that you enjoyed watching this beautiful performance, too.

Watch you smile while you are sleeping

While you're far away and dreaming.”

What a beautiful rendition of this popular song! The Petersens shared in the caption of this video what inspired their cover of 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing.'

“I saw a mom sing this song to her newborn baby online and have been singing it to Macy ever since,” writes Ellen, one of the members of the group. “I brought it to the band to see if it would be a good fit and Emmett arranged it into the sweetest lullaby. Enjoy this song made famous by Aerosmith.”

The lovely vocals, harmonies, and instruments take this rock song and transform it into a touching and heartfelt lullaby. And many people online think the same thing.

“This video perfectly expresses the tenderness and unconditional love of a mother. What a wonderful celebration of love!” comments one person on YouTube.

Will Moseley Chilling Rendition Of 'Night Moves' By Bob Seger

Check out this chilling rendition from Will Moseley of the song ‘Night Moves’ by Bob Seger. What a great cover of this song!

Bob Seger has a sound and a style all his own. And yet, Will Moseley’s vocals fit this classic song perfectly. This performance on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame night on American Idol definitely got the attention of the judges and audience. And many people online also enjoyed the rendition, sharing how impressed they were with Will Moseley. His performance proved he’s got some serious musical talent.

“It’s just effortless for him. He looks like a pro already! Old soul, with a heart of gold!” comments one person online.

“The voice we didn’t know we needed but we all want more of it,” writes another person on YouTube after watching the video.

Even though Will sounds like he’s been performing for years, his love of music was only just recently discovered. This Georgia Southern University graduate just earned a degree in biology, and it has only been a few years since he developed his musical talent.

"I've been playing guitar for a little over three years. I started singing after that, it was something that developed kind of quickly,” Will Moseley shared. And he used this new talent of his to help put him through school. "I was playing in every restaurant, bar, private party, weddings… anywhere that would pay me to play, that's where I would go.”

You’d never realize this talented singer was new to the stage. Taking a Bob Seger classic and making it your own is no easy task. But Will Moseley did just that with his awesome rendition of ‘Night Moves.’

We hope you enjoyed this performance, and we can’t wait to see where Will Moseley goes next with his music!

Roman Collins Delivers Stunning Cover Of James Brown's 'This Is a Man's World'

Roman Collins delivered several fabulous performances on American Idol, Season 22, including this stunning cover of James Brown’s “This is a Man’s World.” Check it out!

Originally from Natchitoches, Louisiana, 24-year-old Roman Collins received some advice when he initially auditioned for Katy, Luke, and Lionel. Ms. Perry said, “Roman, I'm gonna give you a little critique. I love it all. You are so great at the gospel gig but keep showing us different parts of you.”

Roman received three “yeses” and went on to make it to the final twelve, but he was eliminated on April 22. During his stint on American Idol, he blessed audiences with his stirring performances and gave glory to God along the way.

If you happen to be only vaguely familiar with James Brown’s “This is a Man’s World,” you may have missed the “woman or a girl” part. You will definitely catch it with Roman’s rendition. There is so much to enjoy about this performance!

Dressed in orange and black, Roman’s performance is more spooky good than Halloween scary. The lighting adds drama, but Roman doesn’t rely on the staging to make an impact. His sound is soulful and varied—with riffs throughout and cackle-laughs when he mentions the ladies. He’s very expressive and energetic, wrapping up the performance with a few quick, high steps just before dropping to his knees at 1:20.

Roman now lives in Long Beach, CA, and supports himself by working as a worship minister, musician, and car cleaner. He wears a cross tattoo on his right arm, a witness to his faith.

During Roman’s April 15 performance on American Idol, he wowed judges with his performance of “Never Would’ve Made It.” Before singing, audiences saw a video during which Roman’s dad shared the terrifying medical event that occurred when Roman was only three. The toddler went into a diabetic coma, and doctors feared that if he ever woke, he may have brain damage. Roman did wake up, and he hasn’t stopped singing since!

Following that performance, Judge Lionel Richie said, “Let the church say Amen,” and the audience responded in unison, “Amen!” He went on to assure Roman, adding “God has a plan for you.”

Blake Shelton said, “It was one of the most powerful things I’ve ever seen on this show.”

Roman won’t be on the 2024 American Idol, but he certainly made his mark! And, he glorified God at each step along the way!

Way to go, Roman!

“I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.” Psalm 69:30

Some times, at such a cost”

"A Better Place," co-written by Glen and Julian Raymond, stands as a testament to his courage and resilience in the face of adversity.

The lyrics of "A Better Place" speak to Glen's acceptance of his fate, approaching the inevitable end with gratitude and hope. Family Wows With 'Kung Fu Fighting' Dance In Las Vegas

In a scene straight out of a Kung Fu flick, a groovy family trio turned the bustling streets into their own martial arts showdown and wowed the internet with their “Kung Fu Fighting” dance in Las Vegas. Jamming to the timeless beats of "Kung Fu Fighting” with moves as sharp as a katana and energy that could rival a Shaolin monk, this husband, wife, and daughter brought their A-game to the neon-lit sidewalks as their stage.

As the iconic rhythm filled the air, the husband unleashed his inner Bruce Lee, throwing punches and kicks with the precision of a seasoned warrior. With each step, he danced circles around his opponents, proving that he was indeed a black belt in the art of dance.

Not to be outdone, the wife channeled her inner Jackie Chan, seamlessly blending grace and power as she twirled and kicked with finesse. Her fluid movements drew admiring glances from onlookers, who couldn't help but marvel at her mastery of the dance and how much fun she was having!

And let's not forget the youngest member of the troupe, their daughter, whose pint-sized stature belied her formidable skills. With a gleam in her eye and a spring in her step, she danced circles around her parents, proving that when it comes to Kung Fu dancing, age is just a number.

Together, this dynamic family trio transformed the sidewalk into their own dojo, their synchronized moves a testament to their unity and bond. Passersby couldn't help but stop and stare, captivated by the spectacle unfolding before their eyes. This family was having so much fun!

As the music reached its crescendo, the trio struck their final poses, their fists raised triumphantly in the air. And as quickly as they had appeared, the family trio vanished into the sea of neon lights, leaving behind a trail of smiles and memories that would last a lifetime.

Ecclesiastes 3:4 "A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance."

Talented Young Trio Stun with 'I Say A Little Prayer' Performance

Three talented young musicians put on a stunning and fantastic performance of the classic “I Say a Little Prayer,” showcasing their jaw-dropping musical abilities.

Christians understand how important it is to read God’s Word daily. However, another activity even more important than getting into the Bible is prayer. Followers of Jesus Christ should engage in prayer multiple times each day. It’s the all-important process of communicating with God, the Creator of the universe.

Christians are supposed to have and build upon their relationship with God. How is it possible to have a relationship with someone without communication? Without proper communication, a relationship ceases to exist. Prayer is the only way to communicate and express your thankfulness, fears, hopes and requests to God.

Three youngsters—Biko, Manna and Mfundo—appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show and performed a powerful and moving rendition of Aretha Franklin’s classic “Say a Little Prayer.”

In the song’s beautiful lyrics, an individual is constantly praying for someone else. They pray when they get ready in the morning and prepare for the day. They pray when riding the bus and heading to work. The singer even uses their coffee break to say another little prayer.

“The moment I wake up

Before I put on my makeup

I say a little prayer for you”

It’s an absurdly delightful performance that you could easily listen to it repeatedly. Their voices are so smooth and soothing, so much so that it’s hard to believe that people so young are producing such an enjoyable and beautiful sound.

At the end of the performance, the youngsters get a well-deserved round of applause from the studio audience.

While the song is not exactly a Christian or religious song, the lyrics still help to point out that prayer should be constant. We can never pray too much, and there will never be a time when God requests that we stop or slow down our prayer rate.

Romans 12:12 “Being glad in hope, quiet in trouble, at all times given to prayer,”

Reba McEntire And Jennifer Hudson Unforgettable 'I'm A Survivor' Duet

Reba McEntire and Jennifer Hudson joined forces and turned in an unforgettable duet, singing “I’m a Survivor.”

Life will sometimes throw what feels like overwhelming and insurmountable objects and circumstances in our path. These situations will be painful and result in hurt and heartache. No one is immune to such heartbreaking experiences. Sadly, they will visit everyone at one time or another.

However, while trials and hardships will visit all of us, the good Lord promises to remain by our side. His word says in several spots that He will never leave nor forsake us. He will be with us on the mountaintop and in the deepest, darkest valley. He is faithful and will see us through whatever may come up.

Reba McEntire and Jennifer Hudson are accomplished individuals. Both women have won multiple Grammy Awards and appeared in numerous television and film projects. However, they have also faced hardship and experienced heartache.

During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Jennifer joined the Queen of Country music for a fantastic duet of “I’m a Survivor,” a song about going through and persevering through life’s storms and battles.

“A single mom who works two jobs

Who loves her kids and never stops

With gentle hands and the heart of a fighter

I’m a survivor”

All will encounter painful and what feels like unbearable situations. But giving up and throwing in the towel is never an option. We never know what is on the other side or how the Lord will use this horrible situation for good.

As the Bible says, in all things God works for the good of those who love Him. Followers of Christ can hold onto that promise when going through one of life’s many storms.

Ephesians 6:12 “For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against authorities and powers, against the world rulers of this dark night, against the spirits of evil in the heavens.”

Three Skaters Move And Groove to 'Stayin' Alive' by Bee Gees

Three Skaters Move And Groove To ‘Stayin’ Alive’ By The Bee Gees

Three men on roller skates moved and grooved, showing off their fancy footwork to the Bee Gees iconic tune, “Stayin’ Alive.”

Disco is a type of music that evokes strong reactions from nearly everyone. People seem to either love or hate those songs. There is no middle ground when it comes to the 70s-era genre. Wallfling, hemming and hawing are not things that happen, at least not when Disco is the topic of discussion.

Despite the strong reactions from music fans about Disco, that era still produced a handful of beloved tunes that are still played today. Everyone knows the words to Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive,” “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge and “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross. An entire dance was even created to The Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.”

But when it comes to Disco, one song stands out among the rest. The Bee Gees were a super popular group that produced several memorable hits, including “Stayin’ Alive.” You can’t hear the opening notes of that song and not think of John Travolta strutting down the street in “Saturday Night Fever.”

In a clip posted on social media, three men show off their fancy moves while moving around the roller rink as “Stayin’ Alive” plays. It's clear the guys are attempting to create the iconic opening scene of “Saturday Night Fever” as John Travolta makes his way down the sidewalk.

The guys move in near-perfect synchronization, not missing a step and keeping up with the beat of the music. It’s a fun, short video that shows someone else’s interpretation of one of the most memorable scenes in cinematic history.

On their Instagram page are dozens of other videos of the Griffin brothers dancing and skating to classic tunes. Songs featured in some of their other videos include “Ring My Bell,” “Night Fever” and “Walk This Way.”

Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises to him with the tambourine and harp.”

Choir Of Simon Cowell Lookalikes Rocks 'Simply The Best' By Tina Turner

A choir of Simon Cowell lookalikes performed a rocking rendition of Tina Turner’s classic “Simply the Best” on Britain’s Got Talent.

No two people are the same. While there are twins and other instances where individuals look alike, no one is exactly like someone else. Everyone is an individual, created with their own likes, dislikes, tastes and preferences. God creates individuals, one-of-a-kinds and not replicas.

However, while everyone is uniquely created with a specific purpose and plan, sometimes people emulate others in either appearance or behavior. This is most often and easily seen in children acting like and wearing the uniforms of their favorite athletes. They see someone whose athletic ability they admire, so they want to be like them in dress and action.

A clip posted on YouTube shows other people who, for whatever reason, want to look like a judge from Britain’s Got Talent: Simon Cowell. Simon has been in the public eye for decades, first grabbing attention as the blunt and very honest judge on American Idol. Since that time, Simon has become affiliated with a specific look.

The Simply Simon Choir, made up of dozens of people, wore a typical Simon Cowell outfit as they slowly made their way onto the stage. Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be more members, more Simon clones walked out on stage.

The members take their marks on the stage as they sing Tina Turner’s hit “Simply the Best.”

I think it’s safe to say they are big fans of Mr. Cowell.

The act gives the judges a good laugh and even causes Simon to shy away, hiding his face in embarrassment. The Simply Simon Choir also doesn’t sound too bad, getting the entire studio audience into their fun and hilarious performance.

The clip ends with the Simply Simon Choir getting four yes votes, all from Simon.

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord:”

Youngsters' Stunning Rendition of The Carpenter's Classic 'Close To You'

Two youngsters showed off their musical abilities with a stunning and awe-inspiring rendition of The Carpenters’ classic “Close to You.”

God is in control. He makes the decisions and calls in life. For instance, He decides who gets what talents and gives everyone a different set of abilities and skills. No two people are the same, and similarly, neither are the gifts He so graciously bestows upon individuals.

Talent can and does come in many different shapes, sizes and forms. Often, those most blessed with loads of eye-popping talent are the same people we may overlook for one reason or another. Even the littlest and most innocent can surprise us with their God-given abilities.

Even though young and inexperienced, children can be those blessed with the most talent. A clip posted on social media shows two young people singing and performing a beloved tune from The Carpenters, “Close to You.”

The video begins with the young man and little lady sitting on a piano bench. He starts tickling the ivories and produces the familiar tune. Moments into the video, after the young man plays the song's opening notes, the girl comes in and starts belting out the lyrics.

The little girl’s lovely voice reminds listeners, to a certain degree, of Karen Carpenter’s sweet and pitch-perfect voice. Karen Carpenter’s voice was fantastic, and you could listen to it for hours without ever getting tired of it.

According to the children’s Instagram page, they are Maya and Max. Maya is 10 years old, while Max is a little younger, at seven. On their page, you’ll find several videos of them playing other classic songs, such as John Lennon’s “Imagine,” “Hey Jude” by The Beatles and Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to The Moon.”

It's clear that these children, Maya and Max, have been incredibly blessed with God-given musical ability.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

PS22 Chorus Beautiful Rendition Of Cyndi Lauper Classic 'Time After Time'

Prepare to be enchanted and moved to tears as the angelic voices of the PS22 Kids Choir deliver a beautiful rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s classic ‘Time After Time.’ With innocence in their hearts and passion in their souls, these young, talented kids transport listeners to a realm of pure beauty and emotion.

Directed by the incredibly gifted Gregg Breinberg, the PS22 Chorus of Staten Island has become a Webby Award-winning internet sensation. The group features 65 public school fifth graders who captivate audiences with their incredible talent and heartwarming performances.

Their story is even more remarkable because PS22 Chorus is not a school for the arts or even a school program. It's simply a group of ordinary children achieving extraordinary accomplishments through the power of music.

Since its formation in 2000, the PS22 Chorus has captured the hearts of millions worldwide, with its videos garnering hundreds of millions of views across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Their fame extends beyond the digital realm, as they have been featured on esteemed platforms such as Nightline, Oprah, The View, Sesame Street, and The Today Show. They even graced the stage of the 2011 Academy Awards!

But what truly sets the PS22 Kids Choir apart is their unwavering commitment to spreading harmony, both musically and otherwise. They serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration, proving that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.

As you listen to their rendition of "Time After Time," close your eyes and let their voices wash over you like a warm embrace. Feel the power of their unity and the beauty of their harmonies. And remember, in a world sometimes filled with chaos and uncertainty, the PS22 Chorus reminds us that beauty remains. And we can truly change the world through the God-given gift of music.

Thank the good Lord for the gift of music; it is truly a blessing! The pure souls of the children in the PS22 Kids Choir are a testament to the beauty and wonder that exists in the world. Their voices uplift and inspire, reminding us of the power of harmony and the joy that comes from sharing our talents with others. Let us thank God for the gift of music and the innocence and sincerity witnessed in these young performers. May their voices continue touching hearts and spreading love and hope wherever they go.

Mark 10:14 "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

Siblings' Breathtaking 'How Great Thou Art' Performance

Three incredibly talented siblings, Life in 3D, turned in a breathtaking and moving performance of the beloved hymn “How Great Thou Art.”

Humans will experience periods of hurt, heartache and sadness on Earth. There will be overwhelming and seemingly unbearable instances that push you to your breaking point. You may even question whether you possess the strength to go on and if throwing in the towel is a better option.

No one was promised an easy life, free of pain and suffering. Everyone will experience their fair share of struggle, heartache and hurt. None will get through this life unscathed. However, no matter what we go through, we can rest assured that God is still at work. He is still in control and is faithful, especially in times of pain and sorrow.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the talented sibling trio Life in 3D put on a masterful vocal performance of “How Great Thou Art.” The timeless hymn reminds listeners about the greatness and power of God.

The hymn’s chorus is memorable, iconic, and a testament to the mighty God we serve.

“Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee

How great Thou art, how great Thou art

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee

How great Thou art, how great Thou art”

As the song mentions, God’s awesome and mighty power is displayed everywhere we look. He is the Creator of the universe, who put the sun, moon and stars in place. He did all of that and He still cared enough for us to send His one and only Son to die, taking our place on the cross.

Even when it may appear that God is missing and has stopped listening to prayers, He is still working. The Bible says that in everything, God works for the good of those who love Him.

No matter the situation or the pain, God is bigger than all of it.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Kelly Clarkson Emotional Cover Of Reba McEntire's 'Till You Love Me'

Kelly Clarkson turned in an emotional cover of Reba McEntire’s “Till You Love Me.”

God has blessed everyone with many different talents and abilities. No two people have been given the same skills and abilities. He expects us to use and develop those God-given gifts to bring glory and honor to His name. However, what we do with those abilities is ultimately up to us.

There are some tremendously talented people in the world. Some people have skills that are more readily apparent and visible. It’s easier to see and understand when an individual is a gifted singer, actor or painter. Someone blessed in patience, showing love and kindness to others and having a compassionate heart for the needy requires more time to see and recognize.

Kelly Clarkson is one of those incredibly talented people whose musical gifts are very apparent. She was the original American Idol, has sold millions of albums during her career, was a coach on The Voice and now hosts a daytime talk show.

Kelly and her band often cover some recognizable and beloved tunes in her role as talk show host. One of the songs the “Miss Independent” singer covered was a hit from Reba McEntire, a current coach on The Voice and the Queen of Country Music. Kelly sang Reba’s “Till You Love Me.”

The opening verse is beautifully written but also a bit sad at the same time.

“I sent you roses

I warned you I would do all that I could

To show you the way that I feel

Please, don’t say that I’m wasting my time”

Like everything else Kelly sings, it was beautiful. There is nothing that Kelly cannot sing. The woman has been incredibly blessed musically as she demonstrates time and time again.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Gardiner Brothers Stunning Dance To Taylor Swift's 'Can Do It With A Broken Heart'

The talented Amymae Dolan joined the Gardiner Brothers for a stunning dance routine to Taylor Swift’s “Can Do It with a Broken Heart.”

The entertainment world is highly competitive, with hundreds, likely thousands, of people striving to achieve some level of success. For that reason, many people audition for shows like American Idol, America’s Got Talent and The Voice. Some individuals will experience some success, while others will not.

However, no matter how successful someone becomes in entertainment, very few ever reach Taylor Swift’s level. She is, without question, the most recognizable person on Earth. Everything she does is instantly a success. The critics and audiences love her work. All her songs and albums shoot to the top of the charts. The young lady sells out entire football stadiums all over the world.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Mike, Matthew and Amymae put on a dazzling dance routine, showing off their quick-footed moves to Taylor Swift’s tune, “Can Do It with a Broken Heart.”

It’s an awe-inspiring display of talent, skill and athleticism. You cannot take your eyes off them while they perform their routine. It’s utterly captivating.

While the speed at which they nimbly and expertly perform the dance moves is mind-blowing, another aspect of their dance is equally impressive. All three do these moves at such speed in complete and total synchronization.

Mike, Matthew and Amymae do not miss a step when it would have been so easy to do so. The amount of time, practice and attention to detail required to pull off something like that is startling. These three are all incredible dancers; that much is entirely apparent. There is only one left to say about these three: What will they do next?

Psalm 149:3 “Let them give praise to his name in the dance: let them make melody to him with instruments of brass and corded instruments of music.”

Julia Gagnon Mesmerizing Rendition of 'Over the Rainbow' On American Idol

Julia Gagnon, a contestant on American Idol, turned in a mesmerizing and spectacular rendition of “Over the Rainbow” on the American Idol stage.

Artists and musicians covering each other’s songs is a time-honored tradition. It has been happening for decades, likely since the invention of music itself. So, because it has become something nearly every musician does, it’s not likely to stop anytime soon.

Most people probably don’t want musicians ever to stop doing covers. Who doesn’t want to hear a beloved and iconic song done in a new and inventive way? Covers allow audiences to listen to a different interpretation and take on a timeless track. Sometimes, those covers are a success; other times, they are a full-blown failure. But you never know until you try.

Julia Gagnon is one of the few remaining singers on the latest season of American Idol. She has consistently proven that she more than deserves to still be on the popular program. Her performances have earned overwhelmingly positive feedback from the judges and the studio audiences.

So, when Julia decided to cover the classic “Over the Rainbow,” you knew you were in for a definite treat.

For every cover to be worth even doing, the person attempting to do so has to change something from the original. They must do something to make it their own, which Julia did with “Over the Rainbow.”

Her version had a more Hawaiian and tropical sound and feel. That sound worked perfectly with her stunningly beautiful voice, which has gotten her this far in the competition.

It was a simple and straightforward vocal performance, but that is precisely what you want and all you need most of the time. Her talent shined brightly during her two-and-a-half-minute performance.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Celtic Thunder Captivates With 'Amazing Grace' Performance Lyric Video

A group of supremely talented vocalists, Celtic Thunder, turned in a captivating and moving rendition of the beloved hymn “Amazing Grace” in a lyric video.

There are a handful of songs that nearly the entire population knows. These beloved and universally known songs span every genre and musical taste. They have become so ingrained in our culture that everyone can recite these lyrics entirely from memory at a moment’s notice.

Patriotic tunes like “The Star-Spangled Banner” and Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” are included in that special category because they are continually played around the Fourth of July. Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on A Prayer” and Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” are two secular tunes that are highly familiar to many.

But when it comes to hymns, one stands out among the rest. “Amazing Grace” is timeless and has been covered thousands of times by hundreds of artists. It’s so relatable because we’re all sinners in need of grace.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the talented guys who make up Celtic Thunder perform the familiar hymn, putting on an awe-inspiring performance. Also, if you are one of a handful of people who don’t already know the lyrics of “Amazing Grace,” they have been added at the bottom of the screen.

“Amazing grace, how sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like

I once was lost, but now am found

Was blind, but now I see”

In music history, there probably is not an opening verse more beloved, familiar or moving than that of “Amazing Grace.” Those words are enough to cause even the most stoic and unemotional person to shed a tear or two.

That opening verse describes a situation that all Christians have found themselves in at one time or another and describes the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

And that is why “Amazing Grace” is so beloved and iconic!

Emmy Russell's Beautiful Cover of Her Grandmother's Classic 'Coal Miner's Daughter'

Emmy Russell, the granddaughter of the late Loretta Lynn, turned in a beautiful cover of her grandmother’s classic, “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

The current season of American Idol is moving along rapidly. We are quickly approaching the season's end when a new winner of the popular program will be named. The show’s three judges—Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan—have whittled the number of contestants down from thousands to hundreds, and now to the point where only a handful are left.

The remaining contestants must impress not only Lionel, Katy and Luke but also America. The judges still give the contestants their thoughts and opinions on their performances, but it’s those in the studio audience and the people watching at home who will decide the ultimate winner.

One of those people vying to win the hearts and votes of America is the talented singer-songwriter Emmy Russell. During her first audition on the program, she revealed that she is the granddaughter of the late country music legend Loretta Lynn. However, she also said that dealing with the expectations of others since Loretta was her grandmother has been challenging to deal with and escape.

For her latest American Idol performance, Emmy returned to her grandmother’s musical catalog and performed the iconic tune “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

In the short, two-and-a-half-minute clip, Emmy sits at the piano, tickling the ivories as she sings those beautiful lyrics first written and performed by her grandmother.

Those lyrics, especially the song's opening verse, are so iconic and memorable. There is so much feeling in those words.

“I was born a coal miner’s daughter

In a cabin on a hill in Butcher Holler

We were poor, but we had love

That’s the one thing that daddy made sure of”

It’s a stunning performance that brought tears to her mother’s eyes and that her grandmother would have loved.

Travis Tritt Brings Energy To 'Uncloudy Day' Cover

Country musician Travis Tritt brought a ton of energy to his stunning and catchy cover performance of “Uncloudy Day.”

Life is often an experience filled with pain, hurt and heartache. No one will be able to make it through this life unscathed. Those awful, horrible situations have a nasty habit of visiting everyone at one time or another. It’s a sad but painful reality of life.

Even followers of Jesus Christ are not immune to situations and circumstances that result in hurt and sorrow. Jesus never promised that life would always be fun or easy, and that promise is nowhere to be found in the Bible.

However, the Bible promises eternal life to those who confess and repent of their sins and then who believe Jesus Christ is Lord. At the end of the day, that is the goal of every Christian. Spending eternity with Him in Heaven will make whatever painful situations or storms we may encounter in life all worth it.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Travis sings “Uncloudy Day.” It’s such an upbeat, energetic and enjoyable performance that you will likely be tapping a toe. The tune, previously recorded and performed by Willie Nelson, beautifully describes Heaven.

The song's opening verse is awesome!

“Oh, they tell me of a home far beyond the skies

Oh, they tell me of a home far away

And they tell of a home where no storm clouds rise

Oh, they tell me of an uncloudy day”

Because of the performance's upbeat nature and the beautiful lyrics about Heaven, you can’t listen to or watch this performance without smiling. It will brighten your day and maybe even your entire week.

Joy and happiness radiate from this musical performance. Travis and the other musicians who put on the superb performance also look as if they are thoroughly enjoying themselves while singing about Heaven.
