Also known as ‘Con te partirò,’ this Italian song was written by Francesco Sartori and Lucio Quarantotto. It was first performed by Andrea Bocelli at the 1995 Sanremo Music Festival and recorded on his album of the same year titled Bocelli.

In this music video, it is heartwarming to see the talented father and son singing together. It is such a beautiful song, and hearing both of their voices blend together throughout the music makes it that much more beautiful.

While they are singing together, it is clear to see the respect and love that Matteo has for his father when he looks at him, the one and only Andrea Bocelli. This popular Leonard Cohen song was covered by Lucy Thomas during a live performance at The Stoller Hall in Manchester, England. Written in 1984, it has become one of the most popular songs of all time. Lucy did an amazing job covering the song during this performance, and the audience gave her a standing ovation after hearing her sing it.

In the video, Lucy is in a pink suit on stage lined with many candles, and a piano is there to accompany her. Right from the start, her beautiful and powerful voice pairs so well with the music, and hearing her sing the lyrics to ‘Hallelujah’ is truly a delight.

Regarding her background, Lucy Thomas is 20 years old and from Wigan, Lancashire in England. She shares a lot of recordings online of both covers and original songs, and many people love seeing her videos.

A group of six musically gifted and adorable children gave a touching and moving performance of a timeless tune about Christ’s deep and enduring love, “Jesus Loves Me.”

There are many ways to show someone you love and care about them. Of course, the easiest and most apparent method is to simply tell them. “I love you” may only be three words, but they mean so much.

Another way to show your care and affection for someone else is to purchase gifts like flowers, chocolates or a diamond engagement ring. Another much less expensive form of displaying love is to spend time with someone and do something they enjoy. 

As much as all those activities display our love for someone else, Jesus Christ showed us the ultimate act of love. He willingly went to the cross and experienced a gruesome, agonizing and brutal death on the cross. 

Jesus took our place on that tree, enduring a death, a crucifixion that He did not deserve. He laid down His life for us while we were still sinners. That’s how much Jesus loves you and me.

In a clip posted on YouTube, six children, members of the Cinereski family, sang that beloved child’s tune, “Jesus Loves Me.”

While it may be a children’s song and one of the first that all church children learn, the lyrics still contain a lot of truth that adults would be well served to learn and remember. The opening verse is simple but memorable and is so for a reason.

Dressed in simple pink and purple outfits, surrounded by fallen balloons, the group of young men and women embarked on a musical journey that left the audience spellbound.

Their voices blended seamlessly as they harmonized with the iconic lyrics, filling the air with warmth and nostalgia. Each note was a testament to their dedication and passion for music, captivating the hearts of all who listened.

Johnny Carson welcomed June Carter Cash on his show in July 1980, and Mrs. Johnny Cash’s powerful performance of ‘Ring of Fire’ lit up the stage!

Most folks only remember Johnny Cash when we hear the classic country hit ‘Ring of Fire.’ However, the song was not written or originally recorded by Mr. Cash. As June shared before singing, she penned the song. June and songwriter Merle Kilgore wrote the love song in 1962, and it was first recorded by June’s sister, Anita Carter.

It was, however, Johnny Cash’s recording, released in April 1963, that made the song a phenomenal hit. June explains that though she’s very proud of her husband’s version, she’d like to perform ‘Ring of Fire’ her way—the way it was sung the very first time. That she does.

The beautiful songstress plays guitar and sings a slower version of the song. Perhaps her rendition allows listeners to ponder the lyrics a bit more. ‘Ring of Fire’ was written during the time that June and Johnny were falling in love. However, Johnny was dealing with addiction issues, so their relationship was stressful and complicated in those early days. 

Mel Christensen of Old Time Music wrote, “On the surface, ‘Ring of Fire’ might seem like a simple love song about two people being consumed with passion. But the lyrics actually refer to something much deeper – the pain and struggle that come with falling in love.”

Following her performance, June’s dress is hung up on the stool and she needs Johnny Carson’s assistance to get freed. Her crocheted dress didn’t cooperate, but it sure looked lovely with her long, dark hair and generous jewelry. She’s a pretty lady. Funny, too!

She tells the Host Johnny why her Johnny isn’t with her. He’s fishing in Canada after his appearance on Alice got canceled when the actors went on strike. And, when asked if she worries about her husband, she laughs and says that she doesn’t these days, because “he straightened up real good.” She rattles off the ages of their children from prior marriages and reminds Johnny about the one they share together, 10-year-old John Carter.

Mrs. Cash seems innocent, playful, and flirty all at the same time. As Johnny said before she ever appeared on stage, she is very charming! In the final few minutes of the clip, Johnny talks with June about her 1979 autobiography, Among My Klediments, she plays the autoharp, and they reminisce about old radio and when it came only from stations in border towns. 

Many have recorded covers of June’s song. Frank Zappa recorded a live reggae-style version, Dwight Yoakam did a honky-tonk rendition, and Blondie rocked out “Ring of Fire.” None will be as good as June’s and Johnny’s two! 

Commenters remarked on the love between Mr. and Mrs. Cash, saying “she literally saved the life of Johnny Cash” and that she was “the only remedy Johnny ever needed.” The two legends died within four months of one another in 2003, June passing in May and Johnny later that year in September. 

Johnny Carson, often playing the straight man, brought amazing music, clean comedy, fun interviews, culture, and even a little history into the homes of viewers all across the United States for 30 years!

A group of talented musicians, Pearlgrace & Co., turned in a mesmerizing and stunning cover performance of “Sound of the Saints.”

The world is a lost and fallen place, with sin’s impact apparent. Sin wrecks and destroys everything that it has and ever will touch. However, even in this world marred by sin, God remains faithful, righteous and loving. 

The good Lord shows His love for us in several visible and apparent ways. Anytime we wake up, we can enjoy another day on Earth, which is a blessing from Him. The beautiful skies, the gorgeous sunrises and the breathtaking sunsets are all signs of a talented and loving artist displaying His work for all to see and gaze upon. 

In addition to what can be seen in creation, the Lord sent His one and only Son who took our place, experiencing an agonizing and wholly undeserved death on our behalf. That is the ultimate sign of love. He fulfilled and paid a debt that we will never be able to repay. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Pearlgrace & Co. sing “Sound of the Saints.” It’s an outstanding musical performance with the tune’s moving lyrics mentioning the wonder and beauty of God’s creation that is visible to all on Earth. 

Additionally, the song states that despite the beautiful images, the songwriter most desires to hear their Savior’s voice and the sound of the saints—the angels and those who have been saved and transformed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

This is far from the group’s only performance. On their YouTube channel, there are hundreds of videos of them singing and performing songs such as “Victory in Jesus” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

One man, Michael Eldridge, put his stunning, God-given musical talent on full display with a fantastic and awe-inspiring a cappella cover of the beloved hymn “When We All Get to Heaven.”

Contemporary Christian music is wonderful and popular at the moment. Most people would and do prefer those songs over the classic church hymns. Additionally, many churches completely ignore the hymns, opting to play and perform only Christian contemporary tunes.

In my opinion, the old hymns are far and away better than any contemporary Christian tune. Everyone has their preferences, likes and dislikes. But how could you ever beat “Victory in Jesus,” “Great is Thy Faithfulness” and “Amazing Grace?” You cannot do it. While those hymns may be hundreds of years old in some cases, they still say more and have much more feeling and meaning than any modern Christian praise and worship song. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, one man gives a stunning vocal performance as he sings one of those beloved hymns, “When We All Get to Heaven.” You’re likely more than familiar with that hymn, but it’s a classic and still played and covered for a reason.

The chorus is simple but so iconic, memorable and powerful.

“When we all get to Heaven

What a day of rejoicing that will be

When we all see Jesus

We’ll sing and shout the victory!”

As a follower of Jesus Christ, if those lines don’t get you excited and pumped, I’m not sure anything will do the trick. 

The goal is to get to Heaven, reunite with loved ones who have gone before us and finally see our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In four short lines, that hymn manages to capture everything that every Christian is looking forward to seeing and doing.

At the prestigious Stagecoach Festival, amidst the dusty plains, and under the golden California sun, country music royalty collided in a spectacular display of talent and camaraderie with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert’s electrifying ‘Fancy’ duet! The jaw-dropping moment came when two powerhouse women of country music joined forces to deliver an unforgettable rendition of the classic hit, ‘Fancy.’

As the crowd erupted in cheers and applause, all eyes turned to the stage where Miranda Lambert, clad in a sleek black one-piece outfit adorned with tassels and a signature cowboy hat atop her head, exuded confidence and charisma. Since 2007, Ireland’s Celtic Thunder has been making amazing music, and this breathtaking performance of ‘Home’ is no exception!

Recorded live in Ontario, Canada in 2015, the video features the youngest member of Celtic Thunder, Damian McGinty. Born in Derry, Northern Ireland, Damian is now 31 years old, but he was only in his twenties at the time of this performance. And, he began singing with Celtic Thunder years before that—at the age of 14!

A few years later, in 2011-2012, Damian played Rory Flanagan in 18 episodes of the hit show Glee, and most recently he competed in Ireland’s version of Dancing with the Stars. One thing is for sure, Mr. McGinty has not let the green grass grow under his feet. He has been busy!

Several Celtic Thunder fans commented on the YouTube video, saying that they watched Damian grow up as a member of the group and that George [Donaldson] would be proud. Mr. Donaldson was a past member of the group; he died in 2014.  

As the performance starts, Damian strolls down the stage steps and tosses his jacket beside him as he takes a seat. The stage resembles a rock wall and a lighthouse in the sea fills the giant screen behind the musicians. The song’s lyrics are printed in a distinctively Irish-looking font on an emerald green band that nearly matches the color of the singer’s eyes. The Celtic Thunder Band, the stage design, the mood that is created, and Damian’s pristine voice together create a beautiful—a bonny—cover of Michael Bublé’s 2005 song!    

At 2:55, the singer lands perhaps the longest “home” before tossing his microphone from one hand to the other, bounding up a few steps, and spinning back toward the audience. It’s a fun few moments. He then picks up his jacket, throws it over his shoulder, and sings the final lyrics.

If you’re not yet acquainted with Jordan Rabjohn and his mother, Katherine Hallam, you’re in for a treat as you watch this mother and son’s chilling duet performance of ‘Human.’

From Sheffield, England, 29-year-old Jordan began recording and uploading his music to social media several years ago. However, before that, he appeared on the televised auditions for The X Factor in 2017, impressing Simon Cowell and the other judges with his “catchy original song and punchy performance.” 

In May 2020, Jordan and Katherine recorded one of their early duets. They sang Andra Day’s ‘Rise Up’ in an effort to brighten the lives of those suffering during the dark days of the pandemic. The video has been viewed 5.3 million times since it debuted!  

Here, they sing a stunning rendition of Christina Perri’s song ‘Human.’ The acoustic performance relies only on the guitar Jordan strums with ease and their two beautiful voices. With perfect pitch and inflection, Jordan sings “I can do it” three times before Katherine belts out the most recognizable line of the tune. It’s a shame that Instagram videos are so short because we are left wanting the rest of the song! 

Written by Christina Perri and Martin Johnson in 2013, ‘Human’ addresses the frailty and vulnerability of us humans. The song, recorded and released later that year, entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at #90 and peaked at #31.

Legendary musician Paul Simon turned in a captivating and masterful performance of his classic “Slip Slidin’ Away” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Only a handful of musicians' names and works are instantly recognized across generations. Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Frank Sinatra all come to mind immediately as musicians who belong to this category. For example, people born decades after The Beatles broke up still know and love their classic tunes. 

Another musician who fits perfectly in that exclusive category is Paul Simon. He and Art Garfunkel’s classic “The Sound of Silence” is one of music history's most recognized and covered songs. Karolina Protsenko is taking the global internet by storm as a combination dancer and violinist. In this video, we see her partnered with saxophonist, Daniele Vitale, performing on the streets of a beautiful shopping center in California together. Karolina plays the violin and Daniele plays the saxophone.

A large crowd is gathered around the two, watching their stunning performance, live. Karolina begins with a beautiful solo of the verse. She always plays with such flair. The saxophone then starts with the response. Daniele is an incredible musician with a positive attitude.

The two play together with such exquisite musical talent. The large crowd is amazed. Karolina and Daniele have such energy and excitement over the song they are performing. Vitale is even wearing a fedora. During the bridge, Vitale leads a clap with the crowd as Karolina begins to dance with her violin, hitting the high notes flawlessly. These two have a great chemistry. These two appear to genuinely enjoy performing together and seem to have a lot of fun. We even see a precious little girl with her dad coming over to put some money in their case. These two put on an amazing performance that is enjoyable for all ages.

“Stand by Me” is all about loyalty. God teaches us the blessing of working with others. We were created to be in a community. There is great joy in having brothers and sisters in Christ.

The One Voice Children's Choir, a group of incredibly talented young people, gave a heartfelt and moving performance of “To Live.”

Everyone alive for any significant amount of time knows and understands that life will beat you up. Some situations will leave you battered and bruised, pushing you to the brink. Life’s valleys can be extremely dark and seem never-ending at times.

However, no matter what we may be enduring or going through, God is still loving and always faithful. He provides shelter and comfort during pain and heartbreak. He offers rest to the weary. He always loves and understands the situation. He is always bigger than any problem or troubling circumstance we may encounter.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The One Voice Children’s Choir sings “To Live.” It’s an uplifting song with an encouraging message for anyone experiencing one of life’s many storms. Giving up is not an option. God is still in control, working things out for the good of those who follow and love Him. 

The song’s opening verse is the perfect message to anyone experiencing something overwhelming and unbearable: Keep going.

“Wake up, chin up, your moment has just begun

You’re still young, have fun. Best days are yet to come

Got love around us, giving what we can give

We’re all still here, to live”

Life is not all roses, rainbows and never-ending happiness. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. There will be painful and heartbreaking periods and instances when you experience immense, indescribable grief and sorrow. 

Nowhere in the Bible are we ever promised a life full of happiness. But it does say that God is faithful and loving, remaining by our side through everything. He also works for the good of those who love Him in all situations.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

Country music star Travis Tritt gave a spirited and moving performance of “Mama Used to Pray for Me,” captivating the studio audience.

Prayer is the most essential activity for a follower of Jesus Christ. Yes, reading God’s Word and studying the Bible daily is needed to grow in knowledge and understanding of Him. It’s the only way to truly learn and familiarize oneself with God, His commands and His teachings. 

But prayer is the best and only way to communicate directly with God. Prayer allows Christians to tell the Creator of the universe their requests, thoughts, fears, hopes and complaints. Praying and talking to God will also build and grow your relationship. How else are you going to grow and develop a relationship without communication? 

Prayer is powerful, and that’s why it's so important to have a parent who prays and talks to God on your behalf. Those with a parent who constantly reaches out to God on their behalf can and will see their lives changed. God is faithful and answers prayer.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Travis sings about having a mother who prayed for him and the difference it made in his life.  Travis sings that in his younger days, when he was rebelling and going against God, his mother’s prayers saw him through and changed his life. 

Now, because his mother started a practice of praying for him as a young man, he does the same for his children. That is all because one woman was faithful and reached out to God for her child.

What a beautiful song about the power of prayer.

Philippians 4:6 “Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.”

A group of immensely talented individuals, the Hudson Harmony Band, turned in a lovely and awe-inspiring cover performance of the hymn “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” with a yodeling twist.

While every church is different, all have some form of a praise and worship portion. Churches and denominations may differ in their interpretation and take on certain sections and verses of Scripture, but all make joyful sounds to the Lord. Christians are to sing tunes of praise and worship to the Lord, as stated in Psalms 98. 

But churches can differ significantly even when singing and making a joyful sound to Him. Some churches sing strictly contemporary Christian songs, incorporating more modern, well-known songs. They completely leave out the hymns for whatever reason. However, others, a much smaller percentage, might sing only hymns. 

Hymns are beautifully written and constructed pieces of music. They often say so much by saying very little. In my opinion, hymns are vastly underutilized by most churches today. Most old, classic hymns are miles better than a good majority of the contemporary songs that most churches sing instead. 

One of those beloved hymns is “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.” The hymn is, of course, about learning to lean and rely on the power and faithfulness of Jesus Christ. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Hudson Harmony Band gives a powerful, moving and catchy performance of the timeless tune. With their cover, the musicians make this hymn their own, leaving their mark by adding a little heard but always appreciated form of singing: yodeling. 

This is such an impressive and enjoyable cover that you’ll almost assuredly want and need to listen to the Hudson Harmony Band’s performance of “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” repeatedly.

The late and legendary singer-songwriter John Denver turned in a chilling and beautiful performance of his beloved song “Welcome to My Morning.”

Musicians and songwriters are individuals who have been blessed with an abundance of God-given talent. Because of that, everyone can appreciate the talent of someone who plays music with proficiency and skill. They can and do produce beautiful, soaring and ear-pleasing music and seem to do so with relatively little effort, making it an even more awe-inspiring feat. 

In addition to creating enjoyable, entertaining sounds, they also have a knack for writing lovely, delightful and inventive lyrics. They can and do use words we use daily to paint a picture or capture a moment and describe it in detail. Well-written songs may even get us to look at things differently, with a fresh perspective.

John Denver was one person who could put together lyrics that would do just that. He was an expert songwriter and repeatedly displayed this with his many classic tunes. His songs beautifully capture moments and feelings while using simple everyday language. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, John gave a beautiful performance of his song “Welcome to My Morning.” The clip’s description states that John’s performance was part of The Bob Hope Special.

As the clip's description also states, the song is about showing “gratitude for life and the joy of being present in the moment.” A quick look at John’s masterfully written lyrics reveals that statement to be completely true.

“Welcome to my happiness

You know it makes me smile

And it pleases me to have you here

For just a little while”

We could all learn to be more appreciative of what we’ve been blessed with and given. We aren’t promised anything in life, so why not be more satisfied and content with what we have and not always ask for more?
