Hillary always wanted to be a mom, and when it finally happened, she was 48, a mom to a little baby boy and girl.

“We didn't have them younger, so I don't know what that would have been like then, but I think there's something for me anyway right now that I'm able to give my focus to them in a way that I wouldn't have been able to at that point,” Hillary said on the Today show. “I can give my all to them because I'm in a blessed position that I can say, ‘Oh, I'm going to go back to work now’ or ‘I'm going to take this time off now.’”

For her, the love and fun are multiplied by two. She loves every moment of being a mom. Her babies also have a loving grandma who flies down to be with them every few weeks. Hillary’s dad isn’t around anymore, but the babies love to look at photos of him.

She believes that for her, it was best to wait until she was advanced in age to be a mom. 

After her babies were born, she said, “I’m a very different parent than I would’ve been, even in my early 40s. I’m much more patient. I’m much more understanding. I am much more, I think, interested in a different way than I would’ve been.”

It’s wonderful that Hillary loves being a mom so much. She waited most of her life—longer than most people—to be a mom, and now she doesn’t take a second of it for granted… Congrats on your double blessing, Hillary!

One proud father screams and jumps for joy after his son was accepted to his dream school in New York. In this viral video, you can see Craig Allen Cooper and his son, Joshua Cooper, celebrate with pure excitement as they learn about the huge accomplishment. Joshua Cooper was accepted early decision into New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. This was his dream program, which he had set his sights on since visiting the campus at age 14. He also received a major scholarship to help cover the cost of his tuition.

“My passion is [music] production. I love that. I also write songs, and I sing them,” Joshua shared. “But my main focus is on producing for other artists.”

A Father's Unwavering Support Makes His Son's Dream Even Sweeter

Before seeing his acceptance to NYU, Joshua knew he wanted to share that experience with his family.

“I was working at the time that it came out. So I decided to just lock my phone in my car, and I didn’t even pull it out of my glove box driving home, because I wanted to find out with my family,” shared Joshua.

It is such a wonderful moment to see shared between these two – a dad jumping up and down, screaming with excitement, and his son smiling from ear to ear before breaking down in happy tears.

“He pursued his dreams and, you know, he’s going after it,” said Craig. “And I think that’s something, that’s a message, you know, for the world and an example for the world, you know, go after it. You’re going to fall down a bunch, you know, but he keeps getting right back up and pursuing it. And I am so excited and happy for him.”

“I would watch all the TV I want! Bluey!” Hailey said. One boy said, “I would play on my tablet all day!” Another said, “I would buy whatever I want!” while another said, “I would eat all the candy I wanted!” 

The little kids brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the show. It must have been an exciting opportunity for them—a truly one-of-a-kind field trip experience, all thanks to Hoda. It is so fun that Hoda has a cool job where she can bring her child and her whole class on live TV. The children absolutely loved it, and so did Jenna and Hoda! This is a memory that they will never forget.

On one not-so-normal day in the classroom, a soldier's surprise homecoming leaves his younger brother absolutely overwhelmed with joy and tears. The brothers were so happy to be together again. Play this video to see the sweet moment between them.

An Emotional Reunion Shows the Unbreakable Bond Between Brothers

They were clearly so happy to be together again after so long. It must be so touching for Jake to see that Tristan loves him and missed him so much while he was away. He can be assured that his presence means a great deal to him. 

Seeing a bond like this is so touching. You can’t help but feel something tug at your heart as you watch them. Three years is such a long time for two close siblings to be apart. It is hard to imagine someone you love being gone for that long, but it’s good that Tristan and Jake have been strong through it. 

Hopefully, their relationship and bond are stronger than ever before after enduring so much distance. Moments like this are a great reminder of how precious relationships are. Only a deep relationship with someone can evoke such a deep and sweet reaction like this one, and there is a kind of power in that. These brothers show that time can’t erase deep bonds like love. It’s a beautiful moment.

The man with the microphone explains to Harlem that she is going to welcome their special guest. He puts the mic up to Harlem, and she shyly says, “Welcome to our special guest.” Suddenly, Harlem begins to look up and realizes that her mother is dressed in a military uniform, standing before her eyes. She is walking towards Harlem with a teddy bear in her hand. Harlem runs to her mother in tears, calling out, “Mama!” in excitement. Everyone cheers in the audience. It is a celebration. 

This Mom’s Return Is a Reminder of God’s Love

This video is incredibly emotional and reminds us of the great sacrifice from every single family that is involved in the military. It is a sacrifice for all of those connected to the service member, as well as the service member. We can be reminded to honor those around us who are serving in the military. We can pray for them, support their loved ones while they are away, and be a listening ear on the hard days. 

As we watch a military mother surprises young daughter, may we be inspired. God’s love for us is awaiting a precious homecoming, too. He told us that one day He is coming back and we too will have a celebration at our reunion with Him.

When it comes to comedy, there is literally something for every taste and sense of humor. That makes complete and total sense, right? While comedy is most certainly diverse, I’m sure that if you’ve spent any time watching stand-up routines or comedic films, you’ve noticed that foul, four-letter words typically get a lot of use. Not only is that language often offensive, but the topics and subject matter can get a little crass and objectionable at times. A lot of stand-up comedy is not family-friendly, that is for sure.

However, Nate is different from your average, run-of-the-mill stand-up comedian. He doesn’t swear or bring up rude or offensive subject matter. His act is something that the entire family can enjoy together. In a clip posted on YouTube, the comedic superstar explained why he has chosen to go this route with his routine and career.

“You know, it’s just how I grew up,” he said. “And, you know, I never, you know, growing up here in Nashville, a Christian family, my parents would’ve killed me. I wasn’t allowed to watch a lot of stuff, and so, that was even a big inspiration for even making this movie (“The Breadwinner”). It’s like, this is a movie that I know, like, growing up, I was 12 years old, we would’ve been very excited to go see this movie.”

A soldier and a woman shared a hug, and the reason why will bring you to tears. Their warm and loving embrace happened between two people who did not know one another. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to see the touching and powerful moment.

The world is often a sad, lonely and frightening place. People have the surprising ability to inflict incredible amounts of needless pain and suffering upon one another. The evidence for this can be seen all around us – on social media, in the workplace, in the news, in our neighborhoods, and, sadly, at times, even in our own homes.

There is too much hatred and division in this world, and entirely too little kindness, empathy and compassion. How difficult is it to be kind to someone? It usually doesn’t take much time, and the monetary cost is typically nonexistent. Who knows, a simple, what we might call meaningless, act of kindness, could be the thing that changes and brightens someone’s day, week or life. We never know the difference our actions will make until we try.

A clip posted on social media captures the aftermath immediately following an Army graduation ceremony. The video’s description states that the soldiers have just graduated from basic training and are celebrating their accomplishment with their family and friends.

However, the clip begins with a woman and a soldier hugging. The woman, a mother-in-law, spotted a soldier who had no family or friends in attendance to witness his graduation. So, she stepped up and offered the young man a hug, and it’s clear that he greatly appreciated her kind and loving gesture.

The woman saw a need and acted without hesitation. She showed kindness and compassion for a young man, who almost certainly greatly appreciated it.

Kindness does not have to involve big, grand gestures. Often, little ones will suffice, and they are usually the most meaningful and appreciated.

Grocery shopping is one of the worst things humans must do with regularity. Shopping is already a horrible activity, but when it involves entering, looking for and purchasing items at a grocery store, it gets considerably worse. There is no such thing as a quick trip to the grocery store.

People, when they walk through those doors, seem to magically forget that others exist. And you know exactly what I am talking about. It never fails that someone will be standing right in front of whatever you need, carefully and thoroughly examining bottles of ketchup as if they’ve never seen the popular condiment before.

However, at a Publix in Acworth, Georgia, there doesn’t seem to be any of that typical stress and anxiety. Instead, customers will willingly wait 30-40 minutes in a specific checkout line. And why do the customers do this? It’s so they can interact with Michael Masterangelo.
Michael, who has an intellectual disability, loves and cheers on all of the customers who come through his line.

“I’m just so happy to be here every day to work,” Michael said.

And his unbridled happiness and joy are infectious, rubbing off on customers and co-workers alike. Michael’s mother says her son is a people person who is always happy and upbeat.

One customer said that whenever she comes into the store, she immediately looks to see if 
Michael is working. She added that if he is, “it just changes everything.”

Michael doesn’t just brighten the lives of customers and his co-workers; his efforts and tremendous attitude are having a far-reaching impact.

Michael raised more than $31,000 in donations at his register for the Special Olympics.
“He raised more alone than certain districts in our region,” one Publix employee said.

What a wonderful young man. It’s clear that he was working at your local grocery store, grocery shopping would be a lot less terrible.
