NASHVILLE, Tenn. (APRIL 10, 2026)
Following his single “White Knuckles” earlier this year, Micah Christopher returns with “Well Water." Known for pairing honest storytelling with expressive musicianship, Christopher continues to create music that points listeners to Jesus with authenticity and depth.

Inspired by John 4 and written from the perspective of the woman at the well, “Well Water” explores the cycle of searching for fulfillment in places that ultimately leave us empty, and the moment everything changes when Jesus meets us there. The chorus flips familiar language into something fresh: I was drinking well water till He gave me water that made me well.

“It’s a play on words, but it’s also my story,” Micah Christopher says. “I was trying to survive on things that were never meant to heal me. He did what I couldn’t do for myself… If Jesus hadn’t stepped into my story, I’d still be chasing things that can’t hold me up or truly satisfy me.”

The song echoes Christopher’s heart in reminding people that nothing this world offers can completely fulfill. Like the woman who ran back to her town after encountering Jesus, Micah Christopher hopes his music points people toward the Living Water that never runs dry.
“I hope it gives people language for something they already feel,” Christopher adds. “Most of us know what it’s like to keep going back to the same well, which are the same habits or distractions, and we hope this time it will be different. This song reminds me of where life actually comes from."

Micah Christopher will be making his first appearance at the historic Grand Ole Opry as a guest vocalist alongside country artist Conner Smith tonight. After he discovered a post of Micah Christopher's unreleased song "Saving Jesus," Smith was so moved by the lyrics that he invited Micah to take the historic stage with him to lead the song together. The performance marks an exciting step in this emerging artist's career, reaching new audiences beyond Christian music. Tickets are available here.

Fans can hear this new song and others on the Micah Tyler Live in Concert Tour with special guests Emerson Day and Micah Christopher. Check out the cities and dates here.
