An 11-year-old mimics birds at a school talent show, and something beautiful happens. The young man, who has autism and Tourette’s syndrome, can mimic the sound of 50 birds. Watch this short but powerful clip to see what happened when this young man bravely demonstrated his talent for making bird sounds with his schoolmates.

No two people are the same. How boring would life be if that were the case? God is in the business of creating individuals, not replicas or duplicates. That means He equips everyone with different skills, talents and gifts. Some people are good with their hands, while others might be blessed athletically or academically.

As a clip posted on YouTube points out, Samuel Henderson, an 11-year-old, has been blessed with a rather unique talent. He can imitate the sounds of 50 different birds. If you were listening to him and didn’t see where the sound was coming from, you would believe it was a bird making the noise.

When his school’s annual talent show came around, Samuel wanted to participate. No one from special education had taken part in the talent show. How would the other kids respond to Samuel’s gift for bird sounds? This concern weighed heavily on Samuel's mother. She feared Samuel would be mocked mercilessly by the other children.

Despite her fears, she let Samuel take part in the show. When his time in the spotlight arrived, the young man’s knack for bird sounds blew the children away. They were amazed!
Samuel received a thunderous round of applause.

“The kids are roaring,” Samuel’s mother said. “I was so happy to see him living his dream. My heart just exploded.”

The once-lonely young man on the playground is now the center of attention during recess and even teaches his classmates how to make bird sounds.

What a beautiful story about love, kindness and acceptance.

An act of kindness from firefighters made one 11-year-old’s day. The young man absolutely could not believe what the first responders let him do, and his overjoyed reaction said it all. Watch the short but powerful video to see what the firefighters did that made an 11-year-old child’s day.

Kindness and love are in short supply in this world. That is abundantly clear nearly everywhere we look. The news is full of stories about people doing awful, horrible and horrendous things to one another. Popular social media platforms are full of some of the most hateful, profane and vile things you’ll ever read.

At times, it seems we live in a dog-eat-dog world and everyone is out for themselves and couldn’t care less about their neighbor. But then there are times when people treat one another with unexpected love and kindness, and it restores our faith in humanity, at least momentarily.

A clip posted on social media captures one instance in which someone responded to a stranger with kindness, understanding and gentleness. The video is of a young man who has always wanted to honk a firetruck's horn. While at a gas station, the 11-year-old sees what might be a chance to make his dream a reality.

The young man is overjoyed at the sight of a nearby firetruck and literally jumps up and down. He mentioned that he talked to someone associated with the firemen, who told him that he could wait for the firemen and ask if he could honk the emergency vehicle’s horn.

About halfway through the minute-long video, the young man approaches two firefighters and makes his request. He’s walking with them toward the front of the vehicle, and the horn sounds moments later.

The little guy had the biggest smile once he got back in the car. The firemen could have responded angrily and totally dismissed the young man, but instead, they let him do something he’d wanted to do his entire life.

Tauren Wells reflects on his faith journey and musical mission. Everyone has plans for their lives and how they envision things going. That’s all fine and great, but as anyone who has been alive for any significant amount of time knows, life doesn’t work like that. It’s been said that if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans. Most people would likely wholeheartedly agree with that saying.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Tauren goes through his life story. He mentions that as a 9-year-old growing up in Michigan, his life’s direction changed when his father arrived home and said the family was going to church. Soon after starting to attend church, Tauren discovered he had a knack for music.

“That summer, I went to church camp, and that’s when I first started singing in church,” he said. “And realized God had given me something that I could use for His glory to minister to His people.”

While majoring in and studying theology in college, Tauren states that God continued to work on his heart. He formed a band in Bible college, eventually leading to a record deal. Later, Tauren would go out on his own, becoming a solo artist.

Soon after becoming a solo artist, Tauren states that he felt God’s pull on his heart to start a church and become a minister. However, Tauren adds this situation, which taught him patience and the need to rely even more on God to open doors.

“A lot of times when God gives us a vision, we think we have to do it immediately,” he said. “And I think that instant obedience is a good quality to have, but God does so much more over time than He tends to do overnight. And had it not been for that season that felt like a pause in a lot of ways, we would have not launched with the height and the trajectory that we launched with in 2024.”

In addition to being one of the most popular Christian music artists, Tauren is the head pastor of the Church of Whitestone, a church in Cedar Park, Texas.

Letting go of distractions and imitations to choose and worship God fully is a must. Giving the Lord our full, undivided attention during worship is necessary, and He deserves nothing less. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear about choosing and worshipping God with our entire being.

Everyone has a busy life in which they are pulled in 100 different directions. Many people have turned to multitasking to fulfill all their tasks and obligations and make the most of their limited time. Doing two or three things at one time may help in a pinch occasionally, but operating like that doesn’t allow any of those tasks to get the attention and care they need and deserve.

This world is full of distractions and things can and do consume massive amounts of time. For most people, their cellphone has essentially become an extension of their hand. Of course, that means a whole mess of things—text messages, email and social media—are just a quick tap away.

Sadly, as the woman in the YouTube video points out, we can easily get distracted and often settle for less, for imitations, when it comes to worshiping God. But He deserves nothing less than our full attention and intentional worship.

“You know, we’re going to be pulled in so many different directions in our lives, but one thing that should never have to fight for our attention is our relationship with God,” she said. “Our worship with God should be pure, intentional and undistracted. We fall short of that.”

Later in the video, she mentions Jesus overturning the moneychangers in the temple. The Israelites had become distracted and lost focus and corrupted the one place that was supposed to be for worshipping God.

She also mentioned how some Christians will talk about all the church activities and gatherings they are involved in and have been to but can’t remember the last time they read the Bible or prayed.

A woman broke down after uncovering a beloved childhood stuffed animal. The surprise gift was too much for her, and she immediately began crying. Watch the short but powerful clip to see when she realizes what she has unwrapped and how she reacts to the present.

The situations that occur throughout our lives and how we respond to those circumstances combine to make us who we are. Nowhere is that more evident than what happens during our childhood. Whether it was one filled with traumatic, frightening events or one full of generally happy, joyous occasions, those memories will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

As every parent attests, children seem to gravitate toward and glom onto certain toys. For many, their favorite toys end up being a teddy bear or a stuffed animal of some kind. Those toys quickly become precious, meaningful items. The children will then attach memories and feelings to those toys. When and if those beloved items do go missing, it can be a traumatic and tear-filled ordeal, as every parent knows.

But even as adults, when they are reunited with items that were thought to be lost, even if it’s not the exact stuffed animal, there will be a rush of emotions and possibly even tears shed. That happened in one video posted on social media when a woman was surprised with a stuffed animal from childhood.

After quickly ripping open the package, the woman discovers that it’s a stuffed animal from her childhood. Immediately, she begins crying. She thought the bear had been lost forever, but someone, the woman’s mother, tells her she had been searching for one of those bears for years.

The woman’s emotional reaction suggests she greatly appreciated her mother's sweet and heartwarming gift. What an absolutely beautiful moment between a mother and her daughter!

A fearless woman fought an alligator to save her dog. She had rescued her beloved pup from the gator, which had her dog’s entire head in its mouth. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear how she jumped into action to save her precious dog’s life.

Most people, even those who do not currently have pets, love and adore animals. Even if they aren’t the biggest animal person and would rather not have a pet, they still likely appreciate them. How can you not? Those cute, furry, four-legged creatures are part of God’s creation, just like you and me.

Once we bring them into our homes, those pets quickly become part of the family. There isn’t much we wouldn’t do for them. For one Florida woman, that is most certainly the case. In a clip posted on YouTube, she recalled the scary incident in which she found herself wrestling with a gator to save her dog’s life.

In the clip, the woman, Kim Spencer, and her pup were out on an evening walk. It was part of their nightly routine, but soon enough, this walk became anything but routine. An alligator quickly appeared and latched its jaw down onto her dog. The pup’s entire head was inside the gator’s mouth!

“She’s facing it,” Kim said. “It’s facing her, and it suddenly jumped at her and got her.”

With little time to think about what to do, Kim basically reacted and did the only thing she could at that point: she jumped on the gator and tried to pry the animal’s jaw open.

“I guess that’s where I stopped thinking, and I just dove on it,” she said. “Jumped on it, straddled it, as lady-like as that is. No, for real, for real, and was trying to pry its jaws open.”

Somehow, Kim won that battle. She was able to separate the gator’s jaws and free her dog. Kim and her pup both came away from their scary encounter with a few cuts and scrapes and needing some stitches.

What an amazing story!

Most people have the lifelong goal of retirement. They look forward to the moment when they can kick back, put up their feet, take it easy and not have to worry about going to a 9-to-5 job. That’s the dream, right? What could be better than that?

That’s what most people strive for and work toward until that day actually arrives. That final day before retirement is often bittersweet and filled with many emotions. No one can or even wants to work for the rest of their lives. But when tears are shed on that day, it’s typically not because of the work; it’s because of their coworkers and the friendships they’ve made along the way.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a police chief in Kentucky was turning in his badge and gun at the end of his shift. It was his last day on duty, and the video shows that he knew how to make it a special moment. He picked up his granddaughter from school so she could be with him when she signed off for the last time.

“After 29 years of wearing this badge with pride and the past 14 years as your chief, the time has come to hang it up,” he says into the radio.

The chief says all this while he gets emotional as the gravity of the situation starts to hit him.

As he speaks into the radio, his 10-year-old granddaughter is in the passenger seat bawling. But she wasn’t the only family member on hand for the unique, emotional moment. The chief’s daughter filmed the chief’s final sign-off.

What a beautiful moment!  We wish the former chief the best in retirement.

A 92-year-old showcased her Bible knowledge and shared a powerful message. The elderly woman demonstrated her familiarity with the Bible by answering several questions and then gave a powerful, moving statement. Part of being a Christian involves regularly reading and studying God’s Word. Through these constant and consistent readings, you’ll naturally gain more knowledge and understanding about God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Ideas, statements and concepts in the Bible that may have initially appeared difficult to understand will become more apparent.

Reading the Bible is a vital and necessary step in following Christ. It contains lessons and provides examples of individuals who have been through similar situations and circumstances that you may be wrestling with. The Bible is essentially a blueprint and a guidebook for life. How can you know the answers to the test without ever cracking the book?

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman in her 90s is approached by a man while shopping. He tells her that if she can answer a handful of questions about the Bible, he will give her $200. Of course, she is startled by the unexpected encounter but seems up to the challenge.

The man behind the camera starts asking the questions, likely thinking she may have difficulty responding correctly. However, that is not the case at all. She confidently and without hesitation answers his questions about the Bible correctly and wins the money he had mentioned earlier.

But then the most powerful moment of the entire clip occurs when he asks her if there’s anything she’d like to say to others about the Lord.

“Never be without Him,” she says. “There’s no other way – today, tomorrow and forever.”

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by me.”

A teen stepped in and helped save his stepdad during an emergency. The young man wasted no time and knew exactly what to do when his stepdad experienced a heart attack. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear what the young man did that helped to save his stepdad’s life.

Life is a series of wholly and completely unexpected events. Anyone who says they know what is going to happen tomorrow, the next day after or any day after that is either insane or a liar. Sure, we all have vague, general ideas of how things may turn out, but to say we know exactly how events will go is a lie.

Sadly, because of the unpredictability of life, loved ones and friends can be here one minute and gone the next. None of us are promised tomorrow. A clip posted on YouTube mentions how one family nearly lost one of its members, but a teenager stepped in and knew exactly what to do to help keep his stepdad alive.

The clip states that Michael Reese had suffered a “massive heart attack” and was found near the bottom of the stairs by his wife, Jennifer. Jennifer and her 15-year-old son, Anthony, called 911, who said they needed to begin performing CPR on Michael immediately.

Jennifer had no idea what to do, but Anthony did and jumped right in and started performing the life-saving maneuver.

“He never told me he learned CPR,” Jennifer said. “He was staying very composed. It was me that was panicking.”

Less than 10 minutes later, first responders were on the scene and provided Michael with the much-needed medical help. However, he still understands how vital Anthony’s swift and decisive actions were in that moment.

“He’s the reason I’m here today,” Michael said. “I thank him for my life.”

As Christ's disciples, we must let the gospel speak to all people from all nations. These messages may be short, but they are of great importance. We have a moral obligation to publish this Gospel of the Kingdom, as we do the commission given to us through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is being fulfilled. “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20. And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14.
