Most churches today have accepted the words Do This in Memory of Me (Luke 22:19), yet found it in their hearts to reject the words, Wash One Another’s Feet. (John 13:14) The main excuse for doing this, and rejecting the latter teaching, is that foot washing is merely cultural, and we don’t need to do ancient cultural practices. All we have to do is be hospitable to one another.
This brushoff of a command should seem strange considering many millions in the Church have practiced foot washing continually to the present day, although with different understandings of its value. Stronger still, when we realize that the washing of feet is not a mere demonstration of ancient behavior, but a command of the Lord, one which He also explains, it is a teaching to be obeyed, not to be dismissed. In expressing the humility we should have, and in expressing the cleanliness we should pursue, a fair-minded person could call it a sacrament.
Does your church dismiss foot washing because Jesus didn’t really mean us to do it, or do they dismiss the practice because they think it stinks?

As God is displeased with doubts & unbelief, He is pleased with our faith in His ability and will to heal our sickness and rewards it. but building this faith calls for being deliberate/intentional to study the scriptures, dig deeper into God's truth on the subject, taking time to understand it and then believe that God says what He means and means what He says.

Though, not all sicknesses can be attributed to sin, many of the emotional and physical illnesses we experience can also be directly or indirectly caused by the sinful lifestyle, habits and thoughts. Therefore repentance plays a significant role in speeding up our healings.
