Pastor Doug takes us back to that first Pentecost morning, to a small room full of believers that were charged up by the power of the Holy Spirit.

It is now the day of Pentecost. June 3rd thru 5th (2014) feast of Weeks or Shavu'ot. Children's day.
What expectation do we have for our children? We don't fear God anymore.
When we turn back to God he will have pity on us. God is putting things in place for his return.
We are not believing the word of God. The day of The Lord is coming and he will judge his people for their sins. We are not taking heed to the signs that the Lord is giving us to support his return. He is Coming. Are You Ready? If we reject the word of God you WILL miss out. There is more history to support Jesus, that he is real and that he was here and that he will be coming back.

Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

The entire Armor of God, found in Ephesians 6, is a call to put on Christ! That is Truth, Righteousness, Peace, The Faith, Salvation, and The Word of God, and THEN to PRAY! It is not meant for us to go out and start bombarding the spiritual forces of evil in the spiritual or heavenly realms. Giving your children access to World Wide Web; have to undrstand the traps, images, messages, pictures; driver of internet business is pornography

What have church picked up from the world
• Easter eggs
• Birth of Christ on Dec 25th
• Pastors marrying person(s) with a living spouse
• Mime dancers (hippocrits in greek) hide your face, true face to be something else

Need to understand why we do what we do and stop trying to be fanciful

Paul wrote to Colossians because things were being added to salvation that did not align with Gods word

People don’t get saved because of things they don’t want to give up
• Church has tried in vain and incorrectly to make it easier for sins to be acceptable in the church
• Cry out against sin, don’t be deceived
• World wants you to think you cant change or be changed from your sinful nature
• God's Word will change you and take your sinful nature

Col 1:23
• Don’t be moved from the Gospel
• You can be moved if your flesh is weak
• You need to correct yourself and follow your own (righteous) advice
• Sins will find you out

My will is to please God and not my flesh

The eldest son was a deeply flawed man and yet the Father still called Him son.Isn't it wonderful to know that the Father in heaven calls us His children despite our failings and fall downs.The Father also said to the eldest son .. " You are ever with Me ".. and that great truth is to us as well.
