Time is the most precious commodity we have, because when we spend it, it cannot be replaced. How we use our time determines the quality of our lives, and the rewards we receive when the Lord Jesus comes for us. The Devil knows this, and does all he can to stop us from using our time to become like Christ and help others do likewise.

This exposition of Luke 10:38-42 shows that making it a priority to "sit at the Lord's feet" and listen to him is the key to best arranging the many facets of our lives and producing spiritual fruit in this out-of-control world. Even amidst the breakneck speed of life, we can learn to practice the presence of the Lord and enjoy fellowship with him.

Summary: We begin our study through the book of Exodus, and as we look at the beginning of the story that is so familiar, we examine how Israel fell into slavery to Egypt, how Egypt fell into fear, distrust, and paranoia, and how God began working through a baby to eventually deliver the people of God.

Summary: We continue to look at Peter's journey of faith. In John 21, we find Peter and the other disciples struggling with the crucifixion of Jesus, and Jesus comes and strips away to facade and calls forth the disciple in Peter. As we look at Peter's journey, we think about the masks we wear, and our struggles to give God full reign in our lives.
