For Christmas I was given a KJV 1611 Text Bible and it's Brilliant....... but I'm not making it an Idol!

We were in a desperate state. Crushed by our fallen nature and our inability to follow the law, we urgently needed a Savior. We did not fully understand what it would take to be set right with God once and for all. We did not fully understand the ramifications of His Son being born, living, serving and then dying at our hands. He is our one true hope and He came down to show us the very meaning of God's grace. His name is Jesus. He is Messiah.

This is the culminating event of CCF Eastwood's WeCare Outreach program for the parents and families in Barangay Libis, Q.C. For many months WeCare conducted values formation in the spirit of Deuteronomy 6: 5 - 11 upholding the roles of the parents in the spiritual growth of their children and the successes the verses promised for their homes.

The concept of the gift giving for the affair was to have these parents fill up a "My Family Wish Card" wherein they'll write their a "guided" 3 wishes. The only assurance was they'll at least one of their wishes but we will not prevent the donor to give all in their list or more.

The concept for the meal table was "potbless" or popularly known as potluck. We encouraged the families to pool their resources and share in the pot teaching giving them the dignity to be participant than mere beneficiaries. And they did and did well. Of course WeCare shared in the bounty of the food table.

This event video is to thank God and His people for blessing these many families and our heroes from Eastwood Firemen Agency.

Only God can make something like this beautiful. All praises belongs to Him.

Traveling this road there are days where our steps are light and our lungs are filled to capacity with praises. There are other days where each step is a battle and our throats are so parched that not even the tiniest whisper can escape our lips. It's easy to see why we may be tempted to leave the road altogether and go our own way. Should we find ourselves in these uncharted lands, the dark can prove a blessing. For it is only in the darkness that the light from the beacon on the hill is seen shining bright. It calls us back out of the wilderness and onto this rocky road leading to our home.

There's no doubt about it. We are living in difficult times. Yet even as we face what seem to be impossible circumstances there is no reason for fear.
