Most churches teach that the love of Jesus is all you need, yet SDAs place a huge emphasis on the doctrines they hold to. Why is that? Here in the first of a two-part series, we will examine this question with some Bible answers.

Despite circumstances God always able, and desires to bring about good.

In today's sermon, Pastor Jim Rhodes encourages us to practice what we preach. To do this, we need to "go the extra mile." When we live an extraordinary life, people will take notice. This will lead to the opportunity for conversation. Going the extra mile positions us to have credibility to bring the message of Jesus Christ to a fallen world.

This week we will study John‬ ‭7:14-24. In John‬ ‭7:14-24, we see that it was about the middle of the feast when Jesus started teaching in the temple. Jesus says in this passage that if you speak of your own authority, then you seek your own glory.
