"Where are you?" These words were spoken by God as he coaxed Adam and Eve to come out of hiding after they had eaten the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. As God's children, we hear this phrase when we try to assign blame and shame to those who have done wrong to us or when we have wronged others. But Jesus made it possible for us to return to God by dying on the cross and assuming all the responsibilities for our sins. Isn't it wonderful that we have a God we can totally trust and who never gave up on us even after the terrible fall!
Christ taught a way of Life, not a religion. No one wants to step up and do what needs done. Its easy to sit and talk like you know what you are talking about. It is easy to throw religion around.
We have eliminated God and instead we are living a cartoon. We have become Barbies and G.I. Joes. God doesn't like cartoon churches. God is a Way of Life. It is time to get out of the cartoon.
Hello and welcome to Salem UMC... We hope you are enjoying the same beautiful Spring like weather that we are here in Middle Tennessee... Enjoy the sermon.
Firebrand Ministries- Mark of the Beast 666 Firebrand Ministries Youtube Channel https://www.youtube.com/user/1234RockHard False Christ Comes First. Satan is the antichrist. He will be coming instead of Christ. He will look and claim to be Christ to the world. He will do everything you would expect Christ to do at his coming. He is coming in peacefully and prosperously. He's not coming red with a pitch fork and horns but beautiful. He will bring peace to the world with a one world system. He will do miracles in the sight of men. The WHOLE world will be deceived and worship him. There is NO rapture. Christ will not return until after Satan fools the whole world into thinking he is Christ. Studying our heavenly Fathers Word and applying it to your life will make you rich with the blessings of God! It makes His day to see his children read the letter he sent to them foretelling them all things. Jesus Christ IS the living word and studying this word brings peace of mind and true rest! Our heavenly Father loves you and wants to be a part of your life!! Make Him! He is always there for you and will never leave or forsake you.
Pastor Doug continues our "What on Earth..." series by describing the various parts of The Body and reminds us that we are the parts and all are important.
Jesus, our once-and-for-all sacrifice, has paid our debts in full. What has not changed is our need to take our sins seriously, and that includes taking God seriously. The “devouring fire” of God’s presence in the Old Testament was no less fearful to the disciples in the New Testament. After seeing the full extent of Jesus’ glory they must be told, “Get up, and do not be afraid.” Have we grown too comfortable in our relationship with God? How can we show our reverent fear of Him today? Why is it so important that Jesus be not just our Savior but our Mediator before God even now? These are some of the questions I invite you to ponder with me this week. God be with you!
There is only one approach to God and that is through the cross of Jesus Christ. There is also only one way for a Christian to approach God in fellowship and service, that too is through Jesus Christ.
A subtle movement of diamonds behind a hill of tress. A great background to create a calm feeling during worship, or preaching. It is a great background for your next environmental projection.
Pastor Jeff shares that God will not accept anything we give Him. He alone can set the standard. We cannot determine what that is, no matter how we try or think. A Word of correction comes to us straight out of the mouth of God as He poses the question, "Is That the Best You Can Do?"
