During the time this was preached, we had two young ladies who continued to go back into relationships where domestic violence was evident and it eventually cost both their lives. This was an informal event where most of those that were involved wore t-shirts designed for the occasion.

What is God's expectation of us? That we should work toward that perfection which God expects of us, as well as grow in thankfulness to God who has perfected us through the gift of Christ Jesus.
The issue of authority is the main idea in today's lesson. This battle for authority rages in the hearts and minds of every Christian and lasts until our earthly life ends.
