Stress is a destructive enemy which destroys people who allow it to take hold in their lives. God has provided a spiritual weapon, joy, to combat and overcome stress. Unlike happiness which is based on circumstances, joy is an unchanging force, strengthening believers. The joy of the Lord is their strength. God imparts his joy into believers as they come before him. In God's presence there is fullness of joy. Joy is a mighty power to overcome stress.

However it is not Him who is hiding.
In every great game of hide and seek a tree is chosen to run to, and cry out come out, come out wherever you are?

Sin and death brought all people under such bondage that is the same as slavery. Slavery has been abolished in both the natural and spiritual realms. By dying on the cross Jesus set us free from the curse of the law. We do not have to be entangled with the yoke of slavery.
