The Liberty Godparent Home (LGH) is a non-profit, residential home in Central Virginia for young ladies under the age of 18 facing the many issues that accompany an unintended pregnancy. Founded in 1982, our residents come from all walks of life, different socio-economic backgrounds and from across the country. The dedicated and trained staff members are available 24-hours a day to care for and encourage each resident during this challenging time.
The Bridge ministry began in the summer of 2004 with a handful of SHSU college students who had a heart to serve. With University Heights Baptist Church providing support the ministry has grown enormously. Today every 3rd Friday of the month, 100 plus students join together in downtown Houston to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. We feed, clothe, and give drink to any of those less fortunate who are trying to survive on the streets of Houston. Hopefully this video will give you and idea of the needs we have every month. Donation of blankets, clothing, shoes, toiletries, or money used to buy the food we serve are always appreciated and accepted at the Facemaker or at UHBC. We welcome any who want to step along side us to serve. Many lives have been changed over the years, both of the homeless and student alike.

The Forklift is a weekly feeding program in Columbia City, IN that takes place at the local Youth Center. The program feeds 200-250 a week and is an outreach of The Warehouse Church.
