This St. Valentine's day I was surprised with unusual, heartwarming, but also rather sad sight... Bird, part of a titmice colony, which I feed during the long & cold winter months has taken a spot on the sill in fron of our windows, but obviously this time it was not just an ordinary visit ... Judginf by its "flickering" eyelids and desire for tranquility, it was not hard to determine, that this time it was for a Final "Goodbye" and "Thank you" ! This particular bird was one of the most "communicative" and funny from the group and I appreciate it chose to spend its final moments huddled, close to us!

Jesus said "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." But Jesus didn't just preach this, He actually demonstrated it by washing the disciples' feet. At Life Without Limbs we want to shine this light -- this servant's heart, this selfless spirit, the very spirit of Christ -- for everyone to see. Imagine if people truly gave up themselves and gave to others. They would not only be set free, their actions would radically change the world!
