A Prayer asking God to help us reach out to those in need. Asking God to forgive us for our neglect in loving Him and another. Asking God to lead those who HAVE to help those who HAVE NOT. Asking God to bring forth the needed connections, individually, locally, and globally for needs to be met and for people to find the Lord.
From the fantastic album "The More I Seek You". I can't say enough about this album. Wonderful stuff. Kari Jobe shines, of course, but on this song Kirsten Takape sings lead and does an inspiring job. A song written by Klaus Kuehn, Jamie Birkenfield, and Robert Quintana.
From their recent album "Reach Out", this is a song about how God can take something that's broken and make it new and beautiful. Whether it be a hurting heart, an empty heart, an infirmity, low self-esteem, God can fix it if we only put it in His hands and trust Him. In God's eyes we are "valued, priceless, and adored".
The song was written by Gwen Smith, Sue Smith, and Chad Cates.
God is majestic, and this song is about His majesty. I don't know much about Chris August other than that he toured with Ashlee Simpson for a while but then eventually missed recording Christian music, so he shifted his focus. Good for him!
From the "Best Of" CD called "So Far", this was a newly-released track. One of Susan's best efforts ever. Written by Lorraine Ferro, Tanya Leah, and Joanne Sonderling.
This is a touching song written by Todd Smith and Michael Boggs, from Selah's new album "Hope Of The Broken World". I was hesitant to create this video because it's a deeply personal song based on Todd's memories of his daughters as they have grown and thinking about special "moments like these". I decided to go ahead and make the video anyway. Sorry if anyone thinks it's too intrusive of me.
Todd sings lead vocal here and Michael Boggs plays acoustic guitar.
Robin Mark is a worship artist from Northern Ireland. This song was inspired by his youngest son James. Robin was reminded that even a young child can worship God in the simplest of ways; it doesn't have to be deep. God just wants us to please him in everything we do, and that should be our soul's desire.
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." - (Rev. 3:20)
God's love is for all people without exception, unconditionally, without limit or favouritism, expressed through Him reaching out to us, knocking on the door to our hearts through Jesus Christ. There's no darkness in Him; He outshines the darkness of the world, guiding us back home, looking continually to the horizon for our return, ready for our welcome embrace. Jesus has come to us, if we would only put our trust in Him, calling out to Him who is eager to forgive and reconcile us.
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. … for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ” - (Rom. 10:9,13)
