As every parent knows, children can and do say some pretty hysterical, outlandish things. There are times when whatever they say immediately causes you to stop in your tracks and question yourself. “Did I really hear what I think I heard?” If, as a parent, you have never been in that position before, get ready because you will find yourself there.

Often, the most hilarious things that come out of their mouths are when they get something halfway correct. Or they substitute something for a word or a name that they intended to say. One father is all too familiar with what can happen when a child says something a little, or more accurately, a lot wrong.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a father, while sitting in his car, enjoying his morning coffee from what appears to be a Cookie Monster mug, recalls a conversation he had with his 3-year-old. She made a very shocking, laugh-out-loud request of her father, which prompted him to ask her to repeat it.

“My 3-year-old goes, ‘Yeah, Dadda, I would like to go to Ebola again,’” the father recalled.

Understandably, the father needed some outside help deciphering what the little one was attempting to say.  He called in the recruits – his older children- and asked for their assistance.

Eventually, after a series of questions to really drill down on what she was trying to get out, it was discovered what the child was talking about, and it had nothing to do with a deadly disease.

A dad shared the many ways to try to get kids to do the one chore they all hate. It’s unclear whether these strategies are 100 percent effective, but you will be laughing uncontrollably at his attempts, and that is for sure. As all parents know, children do not enjoy household chores. Can you blame them? Who wants to do work when there is so much play and fun to be had? Perhaps all that hatred comes because of the uselessness of the task. Who are they making their bed for? Once they get into it at night, those five or 10 minutes making the bed have been entirely wasted.

Regardless of how one feels about making the bed, one father has come up with several approaches on how to get your youngster to make their bed. Some of them are likely to produce better results than others. However, he also does not promise a success rate or even that the odds of your child making their bed will increase if you implement his maneuvers.

Anyway, in a clip posted on YouTube, a teacher who tells her elementary class a joke every day shared yet another with her young students. This particular joke is funny, but it’s also very likely to elicit a lot of eye rolls.

I bet that’s a sentence you thought you’d never hear or a thought that would ever cross your mind. Regardless, the students do their best, trying to figure out the punchline. While some of their attempts are pretty good, they all fall short. The teacher eventually provided the punchline.

A middle school teacher shared the phrases he says most in his classroom. The educator’s revelation is both hilarious and telling, giving a glimpse of what it’s like to be a teacher today. It's impossible to have too many good teachers. Excellent educators will always be in high demand. That’s simply because those men and women who work in education are literally forming and shaping the next generation. What those teachers say, do and how they act in the classroom will have widespread and far-reaching consequences for years to come.

While education is a critically important field and teaching is noble and honorable and a crucial profession, it’s clear that it is not an easy job. Like every job, it has its ups and downs, its challenges and difficulties. Of course, one of the most demanding tasks for a teacher, especially someone trying to educate children, is getting them to pay attention and stay focused. Even then, it’s impossible to teach someone who is not willing to listen and learn.

In a clip posted on social media, a middle school teacher recorded the top phrases he says during a typical school day. Some of what he says is not shocking, especially if you’re a parent of a rambunctious and unruly child. However, other things he mentions will likely shock you and have you burst out laughing.

“Now, as a middle school teacher, you repeat yourself a lot, a lot,” he said. “Here’s a list of my most often-used phrases in the classroom every day.”

His commonly used phrases are probably about things you’ve never even imagined that a dealer would have to deal with or would experience. The phrases include:

“Where are your shoes?” he said.

“You’re going to be OK,” he added. “Lots of whining in middle school.”

“Read the board,” he added. This one will likely not surprise anyone.

Those are just a few of the nine phrases he says the most in his classroom during any given day.

A guidance counselor gave this student a reality check that was at once hysterical and humbling. The student likely did not see this response coming from his guidance counselor. Graduating from high school is a significant accomplishment. However, for most people, that is not the end of their educational journey. Bettering themselves through some form of continued learning is usually the course of action most students choose after earning their high school diploma. However, being 17 or 18 and trying to make such a big decision can be overwhelming. That is why high schools employ guidance counselors who help students figure out what to do after graduation. This can and does make that task a little less daunting and overwhelming. Guidance counselors offer support and assistance throughout the process.

In a comedy skit posted on YouTube, a guidance counselor was anything but helpful. Instead, she had a most unusual reaction when the student mentioned his plan of action after leaving high school. Even if guidance counselors don’t think they have the ability to achieve what they say, they have to hide their disbelief a little bit better than this particular guidance counselor did.

After the student sits down, he states that he hopes to attend a very prestigious university - Brown or Johns Hopkins. Almost immediately, the guidance counselor tries to steer him away from that course of action. Instead, she comes up with other ideas.

“How about, maybe something different for you,” the guidance counselor says to the young man.

She then suggests a six-week screenwriting program or even subscribing to the Masterclass online classes.  The student is not on board with her ideas, and is obviously taken aback by her humbling suggestions, and her saying that she doesn’t see college as being for him.

“I was stressed after work the other day, and my nine-year-old, she goes, ‘Dad, you’re not that important,’” he added. “Oddly enough, that helped. Thank you.”

“I had the audacity to mention how cold it was outside, to which my child said, ‘Dad once filled the bath with cold water. You’ve got nothing to complain about,’” Mom mentioned.

Typically, the activities they name involve adults trying way too hard to seem hip and young. The following are just a few of the things that the students mentioned.

“They try to use words that kids are using, and they’re pushing 30,” the teacher reads.

“When they try to use our slang words,” the teacher adds. “Like, bro, this ain’t for you.”

“When they talk about Facebook,” another student wrote. “Like, bro, we don’t know what that is.”

If any of these describe you, you should reconsider some things. If you are that person, please stop it immediately. People may not say it to your face, but just be aware that people are secretly cringing or feeling secondhand embarrassment at your behavior.

Singers are a special group of people. They have been blessed with their ability to create beautiful, ear-pleasing sounds with their voice. The human voice is the first and only instrument made by God himself. Yes, there are hundreds, possibly even thousands of instruments, but none of them are more powerful or awe-inspiring than the human voice.

While all singers are blessed with talent and a God-given gift for creating sounds with their voice, it takes more than that to become a professional singer. Those aspiring to become professional singers must put in an extensive amount of highly focused, intense practice. They must train to perfect their instrument, making the most of their talent and musical gifts that have been bestowed upon them.

Of course, one of the most obvious ways to do this is to take voice lessons. During those lessons, aspiring singers will learn the basics and how to sing correctly. A boy accidentally gets his head stuck in a chair and begins crying. The child’s mom and grandmother work together to free him, eventually using a hammer to carefully remove the chair.

Jacob, the 7 year old with the loose tooth, was complaining that the tooth was being stubborn, and wasn’t coming out. Jacob didn’t like the idea of twisting it around and around. So mommy and daddy pitched the idea of Pumpkee, the orange kitty, helping the Tooth Fairy out. Little Pumpkee was to perform a speedy kitty dash chasing the red laser dot to pluck the tooth out. It was a fun and exciting alternative to other scarier methods. Mommy, who is also a dental hygienist, tied a little string around the tooth, and around kitty’s waist. America’s Got Talent has featured many unexpected performers over the years; however, this little boy will leave you in awe of his comical skills for such a young age. He begins in a personal interview, sharing that his name is Nathan and he is six years old, which is basically seven or eight. 

You see a clip of Nathan with his little sister, pregnant mother, and father. They are a precious family. Nathan tells how he brought a good luck charm and gets ready to go on the stage. As he goes out, he shares how he is nervous and excited.

The crowd cheers as he enters the stage. As he confidently introduces himself, the judges and crowd instantly love him. He says instead of getting a million dollars, he would like a million Legos if he wins, and the audience laughs. 

He kicks off his comedy bit, sharing how he has ADHD, and as he explains what it is, he compliments someone in the crowd’s shirt. He says that he knows a lot about girls and how they often say one thing but mean another. He tells the crowd that his “mom, for instance, tells him to call her mom, and he has found out that is not even her real name.”

He makes hysterical sounds, and every judge loves him, and they give him 4 yeses. Nathan and his family are elated! This little boy will bring you immense joy and leave you completely charmed by his fun personality and honesty. He is so brave and really impresses the judges!!

Of course, when children are in this stage of life, their answer to your question is often 'yesterday,' which is not helpful at all.

“For example, questions about the solar system,” she added. “Finally, one day, I said, ‘Baby, I didn’t pay attention in school. Is there anything you’d like to know about ‘Young and the Restless’?”
