Hi, Dan Seaborn here. Thanks for joining me for today's Winning At Home Moment. I shared how a pastor friend of mine, Gordon McDonald, talked about the stages of life when I was with you last time, and I wanted to talk about that specifically now, in the next few times we share together. First of all, when you're in your teens, you ask this question, "Who am I?" As parents of teenagers, can I remind you, remember, you were at that stage once too. You might still be asking that, but I promise you, when you are a teenager, you're asking the question, "Who am I?" "Am I good enough?" "Why am I made this way?" "Why am I not like them?" "Why am I not part of that family?" Those are all the questions we ask. So as your teens grapple with that, be patient. Work with them. Remember, you were there too. Wise parents don't forget they've gone through those same thoughts and issues in their life. When you're sensitive and you pick up on that and you relate to it, you will win at home.
