Hi, Dan Seaborn here. Thanks for joining me for this Winning At Home Moment. I've been talking about the stages of life as reflected to me by Gordon McDonald. He said the seventies are a decade where you ask yourself this question, "Who will I lose next?" It's so true. I was sitting with a lady who was in her seventies and she has lost her husband and lost some friends and she was reflecting with me on how challenging that’s been, to be the one that's left. No one wants to die, but we don't want to be left alone either. A challenging time. A time to press into other friendships. A time to make sure you have people around you. A time for us who aren't in that spot to watch and be sensitive to those who might be. In your family, it might be someone has lost several people. Gather around them. Show them love. Reach out to them. Don't make them feel like they're totally alone. Do what you can to embrace them. That's a little tip to teach your children and to teach others so you can win at home.
